Night Care Assistant

Hill House is a residential care home, set in the beautiful, picturesque Devon countryside. Boasting 30 rooms, Hill House provides residential and Dementia-friendly care to its residents. There are stunning grounds and views, a hairdresser on site, comfortable, homely rooms for residents, and a large communal lounge to relax in.

Shift times: 19:30–07:30. This role is full‑time, 36 hours per week, with alternate weekend shifts.

Starting hourly rate of pay: £12.96–£13.31.

As one of our highly valued Night Care Assistants, you’ll be at the front line of care delivery. You’ll help residents with their individual care needs, such as personal care, medical care and social interests. You’ll build a special bond with each resident and give professional and emotional support during difficult times, such as periods of illness.

At night you’ll make residents feel as comfortable as possible and put a smile on their faces. Above all, you’ll treat residents with kindness, respect and compassion, ensuring each individual feels worthy and has a choice.
