Maintenance Assistant

Overview

Location: THE PIG-at Combe, Honiton, EX14 3AD

Salary: £12.21 - £13.25 per hour DOE, (OTE £13.21 - £14.25 per hour, including tronc).

Hours: 35 hours per week, over 5 days.

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our dedicated maintenance team.

As a Maintenance Assistant you will work as part of a small team, cohesively maintaining the functionality, efficiency, health & safety of the hotel. The ability to manage preventative maintenance is key, along with knowledge and understanding of fire safety.

You will be required to be "hands on" expressing a "can do" attitude. Most of the responsibilities will involve basic repairs of damaged facilities, equipment, painting and decorating; at times you may be required to help the Maintenance Manager coordinate renovations and additional projects.

Experience in a similar role is preferred, along with any qualifications or exposure to PAT testing, electrics, plumbing, fire safety, carpentry, plant room management, health, and safety.
