Appleby Westward is the SPAR Wholesaler and Retailer covering the West of England. Our Retail Distribution Centre and Support Offices are based in Saltash, Cornwall, where we employ around 2,000 colleagues who support our wholesale distribution operations for both our independent retail estate and company‑owned retail stores, as well as work within our SPAR network.

Feniton, a quaint village in Devon, is known for its friendly community and beautiful countryside. The local SPAR shop on Winchester Close is a beloved spot for residents, offering a wide range of groceries, fresh produce, and convenient services such as an in‑store bakery and lottery.

• Warm welcomes: greet customers with a smile and provide excellent service.
• Store standards: ensure the store runs smoothly and items are presented attractively.
• Customer satisfaction: use product knowledge, stay updated with promotions, and create eye‑catching displays.
• Transaction accuracy: process sales transactions accurately, including cash up at tills, and secure company monies at all times.
• Stock management: receive, replenish, and display stock.
• Cleanliness: maintain a clean and tidy store environment.
• Legal compliance and food quality: ensure product quality and compliance with labelling and allergen regulations.
• Age‑related sales: comply with Age‑Related Sales regulations and Think 25 guidance.
• Health and safety: follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the safety of colleagues and customers.

• Thursday 4:30–10pm
• Saturday 6–10pm
• Sunday 7:30–12pm
