Piko Provisions seeks an Operations & Fulfillment Assistant, hungry to make a change in our local food system by helping our operations to run smoothly, effectively, and ensure the highest quality food goes out to our community. This person’s objective will be to lead or assist in inventory management, order fulfillment, shipment and delivery, product manufacturing and preparation, and overall operational efficiency and improvement.

Ultimately, a top-notch operations specialist should have excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-onOperations & Fulfillment Assistantto support day-to-day business operations. This part-time role is ideal for someone who’s organized, proactive, and excited to contribute across multiple areas — from food production and order fulfillment to warehouse operations, deliveries, and general business support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with theproduction of finished goods, including:
• Preparing and handlingraw ingredients
• Operatingsmall-scale manufacturing equipment
• Followingrecipes and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Performing thoroughcleaning and sanitationof tools and work spaces
• Fulfill and prepareonline and wholesale ordersfor shipment or delivery
• Maintain a clean and organizedwarehouse and production area
• Conductlocal deliveriesto customers and retail partners (mileage reimbursed if using personal vehicle)
• Receive, track, and restockinventory; assist with counts and reorders
• Support withgeneral admin and operations tasks, including light office work
• Work withinventory and business software, including spreadsheets, shipping platforms, email, and other basic systems
• Ensure all tasks meetfood safety, quality, and cleanliness standards
• Bring apositive, can-do attitude, and help identify and solve operational problems
• Suggest improvements and ideas that help our small team work smarter and better

Qualifications

• Validdriver’s licenseand access to a reliable vehicle
• CurrentFood Handler’s Safety Card(or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to lift ~40 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• Comfortable working in ahands-on, fast-paced environment
• Proficiency withbasic computer tools, including inventory software, spreadsheets, email, and shipping systems
• Prior experience in CPG (consumer packaged goods), food production, fulfillment, or warehouse work preferred
• Areliable, detail-oriented self-starterwho communicates well and takes initiative
• A strongproblem-solverwho can think critically and make thoughtful recommendations
• Passion forlocal food, sustainability, or community-driven businessesis a plus!

Schedule & Pay

• Part-time:
  Approx. 10–20 hours/week (flexible schedule)
• Occasional mornings, weekends, or deliveries may be required
• Pay: $25/hour
