Information Technology (IT) implements, supports and maintains all systems at Hawai‘i Pacific Health facilities. The department encompasses the people, records and activities that process the data and information in the organization. The team provides support to users, and acts as the key liaison between the business community and vendors. It also codes, defines criteria, performs testing and debugging, and maintains programs in order to meet the informational needs of Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s numerous facilities and administrative offices.

Our EMR Inpatient team is responsible for support and maintenance of electronic medical records for inpatient hospitals.

Under the general direction of the Manager of Information Systems Department or designee, provides application support to user Departments. Acts as the key liaison between the Clinical community, vendors, and the IS Department. Responsible for Tier 2 support of applications. Translates customers’ high-level requirements into functional specifications for the IS Department and manages changes to such specifications. Uses a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications to customers.

Responsible for gathering, compiling, and synthesizing information with regard to technology processes and/or systems. Codes, defines criteria, performs testing, debugging, documents, and maintains programs.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Health Care or related field and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. One (1) year of experience in functional analysis, system design and/or business applications.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in supporting information systems. Experience in analyzing workflow and implementing changes in workflow.
