Bright Star Care of Honolulu is looking for compassionate caregivers and CNAs to provide one-on-one in-home care for children with special needs through TRICARE. If you enjoy working with kids and want a role where every shift makes a difference, we want you on our team!

Your Role as a Caregiver / CNA for Children with Special Needs:

Provide safe, structured care and companionship in the home
Support children with developmental or behavioral disabilities (autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, sensory differences, etc.)
Assist with simple daily routines like snacks, hygiene prompts, and bedtime
Join in activities such as games, crafts, shows, or short walks
Keep the environment safe and follow family routines
Provide shift notes that help families continue receiving TRICARE services

Who We’re Looking For:

Patient, dependable caregivers who enjoy working with children
CNA certification a plus but not required

Experience with children or individuals with special needs preferred (caregiving, childcare, school aide, youth programs, etc.)
Must be 18+, with valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Able to pass background check & drug screening
BLS certified (or willing to obtain before start)
