About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist to join the Hawai‘i Pacific Health oncology team on the island of O‘ahu in Honolulu
. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the state's leading malignant hematology program, all while living in one of the most stunning locations in the world.

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient oncology care (15–20 patients/day)

• Serve adult patients with all malignant hematology conditions (leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, MDS) and some benign hematology.

• Collaborate with subspecialists in breast, GI, GU, hematology, and thoracic oncology

• Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary care planning

• Mentor and teach advanced practice providers (APPs)

• A balanced schedule that supports work-life harmony

• A team of nationally certified oncology nurses in infusion therapy

• A state leading program that includes the only CAR‑T cell therapy program for adults and children. Adult stem cell transplantation is unavailable in Hawai‘i,

The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group (HPHMG) is comprised of approximately 900 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. It was formed in December 2019 to unify our employed physicians and advanced practice providers at Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s medical centers and clinics into one medical group. The consolidation brings the talent and expertise of our providers together to ensure consistency and excellence in patient outcomes and patient experiences throughout Hawai’i Pacific Health.

• Disease‑focused care with expert teams including APPs, oncology‑certified RNs, and navigators

• Subspecialty collaboration with the University of Hawai‘i Cancer Center, offering patients access to cutting‑edge clinical trials

• Recognition as Hawai‘i’s only Integrated Network Cancer Program accredited by the Commission on Cancer

Straub Benioff Medical Center is a 159‑bed medical center in Honolulu. With nearly 600 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub Benioff provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub Benioff is also home to the Pacific region’s only multidisciplinary Burn Care Unit.
