About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist to join the Hawai‘i Pacific Health oncology team on the island of O‘ahu in Honolulu
. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the state's leading malignant hematology program, all while living in one of the most stunning locations in the world.
Deliver comprehensive outpatient oncology care (15–20 patients/day)
Serve adult patients with all malignant hematology conditions (leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, MDS) and some benign hematology.
Collaborate with subspecialists in breast, GI, GU, hematology, and thoracic oncology
Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary care planning
Mentor and teach advanced practice providers (APPs)
A balanced schedule that supports work-life harmony
A collaborative environment with experienced clinical and office support staff
A team of nationally certified oncology nurses in infusion therapy
A state leading program that includes the only CAR‑T cell therapy program for adults and children. Adult stem cell transplantation is unavailable in Hawai‘i,

The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group (HPHMG) is comprised of approximately 900 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. It was formed in December 2019 to unify our employed physicians and advanced practice providers at Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s medical centers and clinics into one medical group. About Our Cancer ProgramHawai‘i Pacific Health Cancer Centers serve the state through four locations, offering:
Disease‑focused care with expert teams including APPs, oncology‑certified RNs, and navigators
Six monthly specialty cancer conferences
Subspecialty collaboration with the University of Hawai‘i Cancer Center, offering patients access to cutting‑edge clinical trials
Recognition as Hawai‘i’s only Integrated Network Cancer Program accredited by the Commission on Cancer
