Position Summary
The Director oversees the administrative and clinical operations of the School Psychology program at Chaminade University including; accreditation, assigning teaching assignments for faculty, recruitment and selection of prospective students for the program, coordinate clinical placements, recruit and train preceptors, curriculum design, program planning, advising doctoral and education specialist students, chairing dissertation committees, manage the inventory of test kits, and teaching undergraduate psychology and school psychology courses.
The individual will also support data collection, report writing, and other administrative activities.
This position is an on-campus position located in Oahu, Hawai`i.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Program Management and Operation (80% of work time)
- Develop, monitor and/or revise courses, course syllabi and program handbook to maintain the program;
- Develop and/or revise policies and procedures;
- Provide support and training to faculty;
- Provide support and training to preceptors who train and supervise students at their clinical site(s);
- Teach undergraduate psychology and school psychology courses;
- Coordinate clinical placements;
- Monitor and maintain the academic rigor;
- Assist in the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of all program faculty {adjunct, full-time, temporary, etc.);
- Assist in the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding all program preceptors (site supervisors).
- Assist with developing student recruitment plan to meet recruitment goals;
- Provide comprehensive academic advising;
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws/regulations and university policies;
- Complete administrative tasks to ensure the success of the programs;
- Manage the inventory of the psychological evaluation, assessment, and test kits.
- Ensure that the program successfully meets all requirements for regional and program accreditation;
- Develop systems for gathering, maintaining, and disseminating course and program assessment data;
- Assist in the preparation and writing of all Chaminade and WSCUC reports;
- Lead any requested accreditation-related site visits or Chaminade program reviews.
- Support the data collection and accreditation report writing for the School of Education and Behavioral Sciences.

Education And Experience
Minimum
A doctoral degree in School Psychology, Education, Psychology, or a related field. If doctoral degree is not in School Psychology than an EdS or MA/MS degree in School Psychology with a related doctoral degree. 1 year experience conducting cognitive, behavioral, and achievement tests in an educational or clinical setting.
Preferred
2 years of Higher Education level teaching. NASP Certified School Psychologist.
