Montessori Community School (MCS) is seeking a passionate guide to coteach in our 4th-6th grade, Upper Elementary classroom for the school year. MCS is a well-established Montessori school located in the heart of Honolulu. This is an unique opportunity to live and work on a vibrant island community, while being part of a deeply rooted school with a 50+ year history.
Responsibilities- Deliver Montessori lessons to Upper Elementary students
- Collaborating daily with a co-lead guide and support staff
- Conferencing with parents
- Contributing to a positive, communicative team culture

Preferred candidates- Hold Montessori credentials (a MACTE accredited program/AMS or AMI) and ideally have classroom experience.
- Are innovative, effective communicators, and strong listeners
- Are open to moving to Honolulu and committing to support a three-year cycle, assuming mutual fit
Montessori Community School is a private, non-profit Montessori school serving fewer than 200 students, ages 2-12. We are accredited by the Hawai'i Association of Independent Schools (HAIS) and the American Montessori Society (AMS). We are committed to adhering to the Montessori principles while supporting the needs of our students in the Hawai'i community.
Salary commensurate with experience.
