Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist instructors in undergraduate Asian Studies courses for the academic year .
  • Serve as principal organizers for the School of Pacific and Asian Studies Graduate Student Conference.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Full-time classified graduate student in good standing in Asian studies, Social Sciences, Humanities, Education or related field with substantial course work in Asia related studies.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Accepted or enrolled to the MA program in Asian Studies at the University of Hawai’i.
  • Familiarity with the MA program in Asian Studies.
  • Experience in teaching.
  • Experience in conference organization.
