Hawaiʻi State Department of Education seeks qualified teachers for the school year in Hawaii's public schools. A Bachelor's Degree is the minimum qualification for teachers, librarians, and counselors.
If hired without a Teacher Education Program, you have up to 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license, with active progression toward HTSB requirements throughout employment. A Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit is required at hire.
