Sr Structural Engineer; Data Centers

Role Overview

As a Senior Structural Engineer with our Advanced Manufacturing team, you will work on a variety of data‑center projects—new builds, retrofits, colocations, and more—by performing structural engineering assignments that deepen your expertise in design methods and tools.

You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and designers, coordinate projects with internal and international offices, and contribute to the organization’s growth and leadership opportunities.

• Perform a variety of structural analyses and calculations.
• Create computer models for structures.
• Prepare member design calculations, foundation designs, material take‑offs for estimating, miscellaneous calculations, and assist with schedules.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Eight or more years of professional structural engineering experience
• Registered Professional Engineer, with the ability to become registered in additional states
• Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Micro Station, S3D)
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (RISA, STAAD)
• Knowledge and application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and other industry‑relevant design codes and standards
• Knowledge and application of building codes
• Proficiency with MS Office suite, including MS Teams
• Ability to travel 10‑20% to client sites

• Master of Science in Engineering
• Experience with industrial metal projects (casting, rolling operations, or similar heavy‑industrial projects)
• Ability to lead teams and deliver commitments on schedule and on budget while meeting quality and client expectations
