I and C Engineer - Intermediate (Data Centers)

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our Data Center team, designing and optimizing control systems for new and existing facilities.

$69,500/yr – $95,500/yr

• Develop and review P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and model design information.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world‑class solutions for new facilities.
• Provide on‑site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with discipline leads.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Control Systems Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in instrumentation and control.
• Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS and related control applications.
• Experience with Data Center environments.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills.
