Join to apply for the Structural Engineer (Building) role at KAI Hawaii, Inc.
We are seeking a Structural Engineer (Building) to join our team! Work will include the design of commercial, retail, residential, institutional and federal buildings in concrete, structural steel, masonry and wood.
Responsibilities- Project Management
- Design and production of construction documents
- Supervision of junior engineers
- Go out into the field as needed to observe construction and ensure drawings are being followed appropriately
- Maintain excellent records on progress and projects handled
- Bachelors or higher in Structural Engineering desired
- Must hold current Hawaii license or be willing to obtain
- Experience with ETABS, SAP, RAM, and Revit Structure modeling a plus
- Experience with earthquake and hurricane building assessment and retrofit design a plus
- The ability to work well both independently and within a team
