Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to serve as a discipline lead across multiple building projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to drive high-quality MEP design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design efforts for MEP projects across commercial, healthcare, education, transportation, hospitality, retail, and other building sectors.

• Provide engineering oversight for mechanical drawings, sketches, analyses, specifications, and calculations.

• Lead and mentor mechanical design teams, ensuring quality and technical excellence.

• Support construction administration activities, including site observations and coordination with project stakeholders.

• Deliver exceptional service to internal teams and external partners.

• Assist in expanding business opportunities with both new and existing clients.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).

• 10+ years of experience in MEP design or consulting.

• Proven team leadership and management experience.

• Strong project management background within the MEP environment.

• Experience in healthcare building design and HCAI compliance.

• Strong client-facing skills with a proactive, high-energy approach.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Comprehensive understanding of building codes.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical building systems and design principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10–15 years of progressive experience in commercial A/E engineering roles.

• Advanced expertise in HVAC systems for healthcare, educational, and commercial facilities.

• Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.
