Base pay range: $60.00/hr - $65.00/hr

Job Summary:

Our client is looking for a Ship Repair Project Coordinator to help plan, coordinate, and oversee ship repair projects. In this role, you will work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, OEM representatives, and customers to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within scope. You should be able to read and interpret repair specifications and drawings, assist with labor cost estimating, and thrive in a hands‑on maritime environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate ship repair work items as part of the Project Team.
  • Collaborate with other departments (QA, Safety, Production), subcontractors, OEM technical reps, and customers throughout the repair process.
  • Read and interpret ship repair specifications, drawings, and schematics.
  • Assist with labor cost estimating and scheduling of repair activities.
  • Operate comfortably in an industrial, maritime environment.
  • Communicate effectively and contribute as a reliable team player.
Skills & Qualifications
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with federal contracts is helpful.
  • Knowledge of shipboard lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Experience or training in work sequencing and project scheduling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer applications.
Education & Experience

Engineering degree or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience in ship repair/project coordination.

Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to obtain security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) Credential.
  • Valid State of Hawaii REAL
    -Compliant Driver’s License or U.S. Passport; class 3 or higher.
  • Reliable transportation to reach work and job sites on time.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours as needed.
