Candidate should be well‑versed in Outside Plant design, development and long‑range planning aspects of the industry. The position is located on Oahu, Hawaii.

AT&T has an opening for a Senior Specialist OSP Planning Engineer Design to plan, design, and analyze network components and infrastructure for both Wireline and Wireless systems, providing strategic short‑ and long‑term planning, solution recommendations, and implementation to achieve technology goals.

• Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Network Design and Planning: Develop network layouts, ensure compliance, conduct feasibility studies, recommend strategic network planning and customer recommendations for network capacity and performance criteria.
  • Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare cost estimates, and create economic deliverables such as Plans of Record, Forecasts, and Utility Agreements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation, generate reports, develop technical documentation, and create deliverables including Plans of Record, Forecasts, Serving Plans, Use Permits, Handoffs, Work prints, and Utility Agreements.
  • Technical Proficiency and Leadership: Demonstrate sound technical knowledge, mentor peers and new hires, resolve complex problems, provide training, and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Implementation and Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies to accommodate network growth and change, ensuring alignment with corporate initiatives, customer demand, technology changes, and service reliability criteria.

Ten years plus working in the Outside Plant industry doing Fielding survey, design work and customer requirement solutions. Confined Space certified;
First Aid/AED/CPR certified.

Our Senior Specialist OSP Planning Engineer Design's earn between $61,600 - $125,000. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
