Recruitment Number 25-272KS, Engineer V, SR-26D ($6,535 per month) to SR-26L ($8,945 per month), Honolulu, Oahu.

The Engineer V performs difficult professional engineering work in coordinating the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operation of major and complex projects; prepares and coordinates the preparation of designs, plans, specifications, estimates and reports; and performs other duties as required. Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with engineers, architects, contractors, administrative officials and the general public.

Graduation from an accredited four‑year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in an engineering specialty; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in engineering work which satisfies the requirements of the State of Hawaii’s Board of Professional Engineers, Architects, Surveyors, and Landscape Architects.

One year of registered professional engineering experience.
