Drafting Technician

Bishop & Company is seeking a Drafting Technician for an excellent client. In this role you will support the engineering department with drawings, research and other aspects of drafting.

Support Customer Engineering Department with drafting need/demand. Create new drawings, revise existing drawings. Look for maps, drawings and documentations or information to assist Engineers and Planners with their projects.

Must have good working knowledge of computers. Must demonstrate the ability to read or interpret maps and drawings. Must demonstrate ability to draw and create drawings using AutoCAD or Microstation. Must have good clerical and administrative skills Must have strong oral, written, and listening skills Must have good interpersonal skills.

This position is 100% on site in Honolulu, HI and hours expected are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. The length of this position is 1 year or longer.

Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $19-22/ Hr. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
