Job Description
Under the supervision of the Manager, creates and delivers exceptional customer experiences by engaging clients and ensuring they understand how digital and mobile alternatives can complete banking transactions quickly and efficiently. Introduces and sells financial services to meet short‑and‑long‑term needs, processes all types of financial transactions, balances own cash, and assists with vault, ATM, cash recycler, and armored car duties.
Responsibilities- Manages overall branch client experience, proactively engages clients, demonstrates transactions using technology, handles complaints, and escalates unfulfilled concerns.
- Maintains and sells financial services through profiling, cross‑selling, opening new accounts, and performing teleconsulting.
- Acts as a sales agent for financial products, processes applications, closes consumer credit products, and trains new employees on operational procedures.
- Identifies and secures new high‑value consumer clients, manages calling efforts, sales tracking, and prospecting to meet personal sales goals.
- Stays informed about bank policies, federal laws, and new products, and maintains strong knowledge of all sales promotions.
- Performs other duties as assigned. Relief staff are assigned to one or more branches on a short‑ or long‑term basis.
- Registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry; if not, must register within 30 days of employment.
- High School Diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent related work experience.
- 2+ years of consumer sales, marketing, and customer service experience, plus 2+ years of teller experience; demonstrated ability to advance skills in personal finance.
- Working knowledge of Customer Experience, Laws & Regulations, Technology Literacy, Communication, Accuracy & Efficiency, Relationship Building, Product/Service Knowledge, Agility, Risk Management, Problem Solving, Consultative Solutions, and Results‑Driven approach.
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; stand for extended periods; provide own transportation; able to lift 30 lbs.
- Relief staff must be able to work at different locations.
