(*) Branch is open on Saturdays. Weekly shift may include Saturday rotations.

Under the supervision of the Manager, the Universal Banker creates and delivers exceptional customer experiences by engaging clients with outstanding service while promoting digital and mobile banking alternatives. They introduce and sell financial services to meet customers' short- and long-term needs, process all types of financial transactions, balance cash, and assist with vault, ATM, cash recycler, and armored car duties.

• Manage overall branch client experience, proactively engaging clients to understand and interact with 21st century banking advancements, demonstrating transactions using technology, and handling objections.
• Maintain and sell financial services by addressing long- and short-term goals through profiling, cross-selling, opening new accounts, and calling on prospects.
• Actively sell financial products and services, interview, process applications, and close for all consumer credit products; handle cashing checks, accepting deposits, issuing cashier's checks, and performing ATM, Vault, and Cash recycler duties.
• Identify and secure new high-value consumer clients; manage calling efforts, referrals, sales tracking, and prospecting to achieve personal and team sales goals.
• Keep informed of current bank policies, federal laws, and regulations; assist in preparing and monitoring reports; mitigate risks by adhering to guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned. (Level III is intended for the Banking Center & Large Branches).
• Relief staff are assigned to one or more branches on a short- or long-term basis.

• Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry, or complete registration within 30 days of employment or transfer.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D., or equivalent related work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in consumer sales, marketing, customer service, and small business; 2+ years teller experience; demonstrated ability to advance in personal finance areas.
• Working knowledge and proficiency in Customer Experience, Laws & Regulations, Technology Literacy, Communication, Accuracy & Efficiency, Agility, Risk Management, Relationship Building, Product/Service Knowledge, Problem Solving, Consultative Solutions, and Results Driven.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as assigned; stand for extensive periods; provide own transportation; push/lift 30 lbs.
• Relief staff must be able to work at different locations.
