Recruitment Number 25-0439 – Program Budget Analyst III (Temporary Full‑Time)

Salary:
Level III, $4,961 to $6,043 per month (SR‑20, Step D to I).
Position is temporary and will remain open until 25 applications are received.
- Perform and/or supervise the preparation, analysis, and presentation of intermediate and long‑range plans and budgets in the various program areas of the State’s structure.
- Analyze and evaluate programs in the State structure relative to the conduct of budget preparation and analysis.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Service‑Area Director.
- Legal Authorization to Work: U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident eligible for unrestricted employment in the United States.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience:
One and one‑half (1‑1/2) years of progressively responsible professional experience involving technical analytical work in the evaluation of operating programs. Experience must demonstrate competency in at least two of the following concentration areas, each for a minimum of six months:- Program Analysis and Evaluation – systematic organization of data to support decision making, including statistical methods such as break‑even, cost‑benefit, regression analysis, and business process modeling.
- Program Planning – participation in the review, analysis, and evaluation of program plans and budget requirements, and the development of fiscal policies, financial plans, and performance measurement devices.
- Program Budgeting – direct participation in the preparation and review of budgets and program plans for major programs, including appraisals of program activities and analysis of resource levels.
- Additional Requirements: TWIC clearance (Federal Criminal History Records Check) and eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. Substitutions for the specialized experience may be considered if they meet the minimum qualification requirements.
