Licensed Nail Technician

A well-established nail salon is seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Nail Technicians.

The salon is located at a family-friendly resort with an oceanfront, mixed Hawaiian authentic and modern atmosphere in the heart of Waikiki.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing high level nail care, manicure, pedicure and gel removal including client consultation
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Assist with cleanliness of all spa areas
• Maintain the inventory of supplies necessary to perform appointed services
• Maintain all implements for performing manicures including files, clippers, and cuticle cutters in a clean and hygienic manner
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and

Qualifications:

• Must have an applicable state license to perform services (To be discussed if your nail tech license is out-of-state)
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience doing manicure and pedicure work
• Must have exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Must be available to work varying shifts such as nights, weekends, and holidays (Full-Time position)
• Required to speak, read and write English. Additional language is an asset.

Work Hours: Shift schedule between 9am to 9pm

Shift schedule comes on monthly basis. The shifts will be mostly fixed though, it may be changed depending on the work schedules of other staff members.

• 8 hours per day, 5 days per week for Full-time position (varying shifts such as nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Minimum 3 hours per day, preferably 5 hours or more, at least once per week for Part-time position

Pay:

• Actual monthly income (Base pay + Tip) for Full-Time position starts at about $4,500.00
• The pay scale for Part-Time position starts at $14.00/hour + Tip
  The pay scale is the base hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions and gratuities
