Education / Experience :
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited physical therapy program
Computer Skills :
- Proficient in clinical documentation and internet navigation
Certificates and Licenses :
- Valid physical therapist license for the state

Responsibilities
Physical Therapist
Summary : Provides physical therapy services, maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients, and adhering to all regulations and guidelines. Responsibilities include patient screening and evaluation, developing treatment plans, discharge planning, supervising assistants and Rehab Techs, and case management. Maintains professional conduct aligned with Reliant Rehabilitation's commitment to quality and service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Enhance patient functionality through therapy services
- Provide consultation and supervision to PTAs
- Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs in treatment tasks, promoting resource efficiency and skill development
- Develop and build a strong physical therapy program
- Engage in ongoing professional development
- Maintain valid state license and stay informed on industry issues
- Understand billing and treatment guidelines, providing quality, compliant care
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively in English in clinical settings
