The Department of Health, Air Quality Laboratory has ONE (1) urgent vacancy located at the Hawaii State Laboratory in Pearl City, Oahu. • Set up, calibrate, maintain and repair air quality control equipment in the laboratory and at sampling sites throughout the State.
• Perform routine standard chemical and statistical tests to verify accuracy of recording instruments and the findings of others.
• Maintain quality assurance records.
• Perform other duties as required.

  Experience:
  
  ONE (1) year of technical experience in calibrating, maintaining, and repairing electronic air monitoring equipment such as spectrophotometer, carbon monoxide analyzer, nitric oxide‑nitrogen dioxide analyzer or equivalent equipment; ability to operate and perform standardized corroborative statistical or chemical tests.
