Pay:
- MA: $26/hr
- New Grad: $24/hr
- CMA: $27/hr
Honolulu, HI (Ala Moana area)
- Employee parking available for just $60/month
- Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Temp: 2 month duration
Responsibilities (but not limited to)- Room and prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information
- Perform venipuncture and blood draws in accordance with established protocols
- Process, label, and prepare laboratory specimens for transport
- Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient care and procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR)
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient follow-up care
- Answer patient questions and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain exam room cleanliness and stock clinical supplies
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinical safety standards
- Experience:
Minimum of 6 months of recent CMA/MA experience (within the last 24 months) - Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant Program
- Current Medical Assistant Certificate, preferred
- Current CPR/BLSCertification
- Current Two-Step TB/Chest X-Ray Clearance (within 1 year)
