PW Golf Pro Shop Course Attendant

Primary Responsibilities: The Course Attendant will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the outside services at the club. He/She will strive to uphold the policies, standards and guidelines set forth by his/her club.

• Greet each guest cheerfully, enthusiastically and with a smile and warm eye contact. Make each Guest feel welcome. Help in any way to ensure that each Guest enjoys their day at the Hawaii Prince Golf Club
• Greet guests at the bag drop area and assist them with any unloading of golf equipment. Provide the guest with a ride to the pro shop and assist them with checking in for golf.
• Must keep accurate record of receipts and equipment used by Guests on Starter Sheet.
• You are required to wear a uniform provided by the golf course with no visible stains, tears or adverse markings unless approved by management.
• Nametags will be provided and worn at all times.
• Prep golf carts with scorecards, water, towels, and stage them in the golf cart staging area.
• Assist players with any cart breakdowns and arrange with cart staff the towing of any needed carts.
• Wash cart to include sanitizing before and after each round using approved chemicals, equipment and while wearing proper personal protective equipment. Replenish cart with proper supplies, readying for tomorrow’s business. Park in designated row.
• Break down the driving range in the P.M. making sure to remove all golf balls on the practice area and tee area and collection of range baskets.
• Driving range duties as scheduled.
• Bag drop area and cart staging area should be attended throughout the entire day.
• At the end of players round, attendant will clean players clubs and load them in the guest’s vehicle or take to the bag drop.
• Keep in constant communication with the Starter and other player assistants. Maintain proper spacing throughout the course to avoid two player assistants on the same nine.
• Provide Starter with needed assistance anytime Starter sees fit.
• At the end of your shift, place your radio on charger; making sure charger light is illuminated.

Other Duties:

• Cover other areas if short-handed, such as, but not limited to, picking up disabled carts, delivering messages, helping bag staff, picking the range, pulling carts to and from the barn, and performing driving range attendant position and other requests made by professional staff.
• Report to the golf shop any irrigation breaks, accidents, or unusual circumstances.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

• Outdoors in areas with direct sunlight and in covered shade, podium and cart barn areas.
• Subject to variable weather conditions.

Work Hours:

• Varies – Daily between 5:45am – 7pm
• Available to be scheduled on weekends and holidays
