Tech / IT Recruiter, Recruiter / Talent Acquisition
At Pro Service, our mission is to help Hawaii employers succeed, and hiring the right people is often the hardest part of that. Talent Pro is our managed service for finding and keeping talent. It brings together recruiters, technology, and local expertise so Hawaii businesses can hire hourly workers quickly and keep them. We’re looking for a Product Manager who will own the whole Talent Pro experience for clients, candidates, and recruiters, and who wants to build the improvements themselves.
The role sits between product and service. Talent Pro isn’t pure software and it isn’t a traditional staffing operation. It runs on an ATS and a payroll platform that you’ll integrate around rather than rebuild. Your candidates apply from their phones and talk to us by text, so one awkward step can cost us hundreds of applicants. Success looks like this: a new client goes live in under an hour, more hires come from our own candidate pool every quarter, and clients see their pipeline in real time without having to ask.
When that happens, you’ll know you’ve built something people rely on.
Own the end-to-end product experience for Talent Pro, turning input from clients, recruiters, and candidates into one prioritized backlog
Build and ship workflows, automations, and integrations yourself using no-code tools, APIs, and lightweight scripting, and bring in engineering help only when it’s truly needed
Improve conversion across the mobile and SMS candidate funnel, from application completion through interview scheduling and show rates
Map and re-engineer how data moves between the ATS and payroll platforms so client setup feels like one click and onboarding is error-free
Build the data pipelines, dashboards, and monitoring that track operational and financial health and catch issues before a client or candidate does
Manage relationships with our ATS partner and internal payroll platform team, pushing for changes and knowing when a workaround will get there faster
IS THIS ROLE RIGHT FOR YOU?This is a builder’s role in an early-stage business. There’s no playbook and no dedicated engineering team waiting for your specs. You’ll decide what matters most, build it, test it with a live client or recruiter, and then make it standard. You’ll have close partners in our Customer Delivery Manager and Recruiting Lead, who stay close to clients and candidates every day, and leadership that wants you to move fast.
Hands-on building and owning the outcome are not optional — they’re the job.
You’ll also need to love the details. Every text a candidate gets and every click a client makes is something you’ll want to improve, because small friction adds up quickly in a high-touch service. If you’d rather write requirements than build, or need a clearly defined roadmap before you can start, this role will be frustrating. If you find it energizing to turn a messy manual process into something clean that runs itself, you’ll do well here.
WHATYOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM
You’ve owned a product experience from end to end and have built real tools yourself with no-code or low-code platforms, APIs, or scripting. You know how to get value out of third-party software you don’t fully control. You’ve turned input from customer-facing and operations teams into a prioritized list and shipped against it. You’ve measurably improved a high-volume conversion funnel and have helped shape how a product is packaged and priced.
Experience in HR tech is a plus. Above all, you bring deep customer obsession, sharp analytical skills, sound judgment, and the independence to drive work forward with minimal oversight.
You’re probably a fit if:
You hunt friction one click at a time. You noticed applicants dropping off at a single SMS step,…
