Site Reliability Engineer Security Clearance

Position: Site Reliability Engineer with Security Clearance
Role - Site Reliability Engineer Location - Honolulu - Hybrid - 1-2 days a week on site Security clearance - Minimum Secret - need this ahead of applying Salary - $150k-$200k + Equity I am partnered with a leading defense tech scale up who are looking to add an SRE to their team based in Hawaii. This role is hybrid with an expectation of 1-2 days on site in Honolulu, however there is some weeks where you will not need to go on site  to the nature of the client you must hold an active secret clearance as a minimum ahead of applying for this position.

To be considered for this position you must have experience with the following:

Experience with Security Clearance and DoD IT Environment:
You hold an active security clearance, are well-versed in the DoD IT landscape, and have hands-on experience managing mission-critical systems within the DoD’s air-gapped networks.
Proficient in On-Premise and Cloud Environments:
You have expertise in both DoD on-premise systems and AWS cloud environments.
Systems Hardening Expertise:
You have a solid understanding of Linux, containers, virtual machines, and Kubernetes, and are skilled in hardening these systems in accordance with RMF security controls and STIGs/SRGs.
Tool Proficiency:
You are proficient with VMWare, Docker, Helm, Ansible, and Terraform.
Command Line Expertise:
You are highly comfortable working at the command line.
Backup, Logging, and Alerting:
You have experience setting up backups, logging, and alerting across various layers of the OSI model to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) consistently meet customer satisfaction.
System Monitoring:
You are skilled in system monitoring, with the ability to proactively identify potential issues or anticipate the need for increased capacity.
Incident Response and Root Cause Analysis:
You possess a strong understanding of incident response processes and are adept at conducting thorough root cause analyses.
Adaptability and Problem-Solving:
You are creative, resourceful, and capable of operating effectively in air-gapped environments with limited tools or external assistance.
Developer

Collaboration:

You work well with developers, ensuring smooth, efficient, and secure development and operational processes.
Security Certification:
