Position Overview: Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, is looking for a systems engineer who will provide mission-focused technical support for the customer environment. This position ensures systems and networks remain fully functional, secure, and optimized for real‑time mission execution. This role may perform inventory management, equipment repair and replacement, system patching and updating, system imaging, system configurations, troubleshooting, and testing to maintain readiness and performance.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all hardware and software assets; track equipment assignments, returns, and lifecycle status
- Diagnose hardware issues and perform repairs or coordinate replacements to ensure minimal downtime
- Apply regular software and security updates to ensure all systems remain compliant, stable, and secure
- Create, deploy, and manage system images for new or re‑imaged devices to ensure consistent configuration across the organization
- Configure workstations, servers, and network devices according to organizational standards and project requirements
- Perform Tier 1–3 troubleshooting to isolate and resolve hardware, software, or network issues
- Document incident details, root cause, and resolution steps in accordance with established processes
- Supports escalation to specialized engineering teams or vendors as necessary.
- Conduct operational recovery and continuity actions during mission‑impacting events
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), test guides, and operational turnover documentation
- Support deployment, configuration, and connectivity of Forge Services across virtualized and physical nodes
- Evaluate and test new equipment and applications to verify functionality, compatibility, and performance before deployment
- U.S. Citizenship.
- 4+ years of experience or equivalent education
- Technical knowledge of Windows, Linux, and virtualized environments
- Able to support pre‑existing built environments with documentation
- Proficiency in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
- Meets DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements (can be obtained w/in first 6 months of employment)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance
- Ability to travel within the United States
