This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations. HII designs, develops, integrates and manages sensors, systems and other assets necessary to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision-making. With data fusion and mission management capabilities for the Department of Defense, the combatant commands and the intelligence community, HII advances the mission around the globe.

Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a dynamic and innovative Electromagnetic Warfare Planner to provide research, analysis, and planning support to the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) Operations Directorate as part of a Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Cell supporting U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) at Ft Shafter, Hawaii!

  • Have the experience and knowledge to support Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) that will ensure freedom of action and mission assurance in all domains throughout the Pacific.
What You Will Do
  • Aid senior-level strategic planning and briefings, including preparing formal papers and background information for USINDOPACOM and USARPAC senior leader consumption.
  • Provide research and analysis of various EW related national security policies, military strategies, and capability integration that support USINDOPACOM operations and exercises with a specific focus on USARPAC related operations.
  • Utilize experience and knowledge to support Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) focused on USARPAC operations that will ensure freedom of action and mission assurance in all domains throughout the Indo-Pacific.
  • Additional duties as assigned or required.
What We Are Looking For
  • 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
  • Experience in Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) operations, capability development and/or policy.
  • 3 years of experience at a Combatant Command or Service Component HQ.
  • 3 years of experience in the Indo-Pacific Area of Operations.
  • Familiar with INDOPACOM Theater Campaign Plan (TCP), Deliberate and Crisis Action Plans, and Operations Plans (OPLANS).
  • Experience in writing reports, graphics, and information papers.
  • Experience analyzing operational data.
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Clearance:
    Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
Bonus points for...
  • Bachelor's or minimum of 15 years of experience in Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) ELINT operations, capability development and/or policy in lieu of degree.
  • 10 years of combined experience in Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) operations, capability development and/or policy.
  • Master's and/or attendance at Service Command and General Staff College.
  • Background in U.S. Army JEMSO operations.
  • Experience coordinating with other DoD entities, including the Joint Staff, the Office of the Secretary of Defense and INDOPACOM's Service Components as well as non-DoD organizations such as DHS and State Department.
  • Graduate of Joint Electronic Warfare Theater Operations Course.
  • Familiar with JEMSO applications and databases (FADE/MIST, CED, etc.).
Physical Requirements

Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
