Position: Desktop Support / Network Support
Overview We are seeking a Technology Support Specialist to serve as a trusted technology advisor for end users and business leaders. This role combines hands-on IT support, technology consulting, training, and project coordination to help teams maximize the value of their technology investments. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically proficient, and skilled at building relationships while driving technology adoption and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Provide onsite technology support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and business applications.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.

Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational goals and identify technology solutions that improve productivity and user experience.

Configure, deploy, and support Windows-based systems, Office 365 applications, and mobile devices.

Serve as a trusted advisor by educating users on technology tools, best practices, and new solutions.

Deliver training sessions and one-on-one coaching to improve technology adoption and effectiveness.

Support technology rollouts, upgrades, office expansions, and infrastructure improvement projects.

Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and third-party providers during technology implementations.

Gather end-user feedback and communicate recommendations for process and technology improvements.

Manage escalated support issues and ensure timely resolution.

Document support activities, project updates, and user engagement efforts.

Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies through ongoing training and professional development.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
2+ years of experience in desktop support, technical support, technology consulting, or a related role.

Strong troubleshooting experience with:

Windows 10/11

Microsoft 365 / Office 365

Active Directory Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Hardware break/fix Device imaging and deployment

Mobile device support

Basic network troubleshooting

Experience supporting end users in a professional business environment.

Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to effectively present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications Experience delivering training, coaching, or facilitating group sessions.

Experience supporting technology adoption initiatives or business process improvements.

Familiarity with network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and connectivity troubleshooting.

Experience coordinating or supporting technology projects and implementations.

Background supporting professionals in financial services, sales-focused organizations, or other client-facing environments.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $37.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
