Job Description & How to Apply Below
This hybrid Business Intelligence Analyst role at Startup Edge suits the engineer who reads the changelog before upgrading and the docs before asking. Think $120,000 - $166,000, think hybrid hours, think 3 years of Azure ML turning into ownership you can actually feel at Startup Edge.
Key Responsibilities- Untangle the Power BI dependency knots that have slowed Honolulu releases for months
- Document technical decisions, architecture, and APIs for the broader org
- Question the tinker-friendly Vertex AI pattern everyone copied and propose something cleaner
- Decode the undocumented Snowflake service nobody at Startup Edge remembers writing
- Catch the Generative AI race conditions that only surface under Honolulu peak traffic
- Mentor the mid-level cohort through their first real Power BI on-call at Startup Edge
- Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and technology roadmap discussions
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents across Project Management-based applications
- Familiarity with the Honolulu market and local technology landscape
- Familiarity with the rhythms of a solutions-focused hybrid team
- 5+ years building trust the slow, unglamorous way
- Curiosity that outpaces your current job description
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
Startup Edge is a remote-native Honolulu, HI company born from the belief that technology tools should respect the people using them. Transparency is a habit, so roadmaps, tradeoffs, and even mistakes get shared openly.
Take home $120,000 - $166,000, build your Power BI under a mentor, lean on benefits, and shape a hybrid week that finally fits.
Live and hiring this very moment for the Honolulu, HI team.
