Priority Fill - Journeyman PC Technician

Allyon has a high-priority opening supporting mission-critical IT operations for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) in Hawaii.

In mission environments, downtime is not an option. As a PC Technician supporting USACE, you keep systems running, resolve issues quickly, and ensure users stay focused on their work. Your work directly supports mission continuity across critical infrastructure and engineering operations. • Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop hardware and software.
• Provides on-site technical support and assistance by deploying to program field offices for IT infrastructure and end-user device wellness checks.
• Conducts network performance evaluations, checks conference room equipment, supports end-user devices, and ensures compliance with USACE IT policies.
• Assists with IT equipment disposal training.
• Supporting users onsite and remotely with technical and operational needs.
• Deploying PCs, printers, and peripherals.
• Configuring operating systems and installing applications.
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and printer issues.
• Managing and resolving support tickets through Service Now.
• Contributing to system improvements and operational reliability.

• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT, Computer Science, or related field, with 4 years of experience in IT and/or field/user support roles.
• Experience supporting Windows environments and Microsoft Office.
• Must have strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting, and experience with IT equipment setup and maintenance.
• Possess strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Must be proficient in remote IT support tools and ticketing systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Valid Driver's License.

• Experience supporting Office 365 environments.
• Experience with Lexmark, HP, or Ricoh printer maintenance.
• Prior USACE or DoD IT experience.
• Military or Federal Government experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+, A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, GFACR, GSEC, CND).
• Please note that candidates may still be hired even if they do not yet hold one of the certifications listed.
• However, they must obtain the required certification within the first nine months of their employment with this customer.
