California-Licensed Labor & Employment Litigation Attorneys

Beacon Hill was founded to set a new standard in search, career placement and flexible staffing. Beacon Hill's client, a regional law firm, is seeking experienced Labor & Employment litigation contract attorneys to support its team. Ideal candidates will have experience handling California wage-and-hour class action claims and PAGA cases and will be comfortable managing matters through all phases of litigation.

Location:

Remote (U.S.

-based; California-based candidates preferred); active California bar license required.

Start: ASAP

Duration:
Initial 6-month assignment with the possibility of extension and potential direct-hire conversion

Concurrent employment:
May be considered

Hours:

Up to 40 hours per week; reduced schedules may be considered for exceptional candidates

Pay: $100-$120/hour, depending on experience

• Active California bar license in good standing
• 12+ years of experience handling California wage and hour class action claims
• Experience with PAGA matters is strongly preferred
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent writing skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

• Managing matters through all phases of litigation
• Drafting and responding to discovery requests and initial pleadings
• Researching, drafting, and arguing motions
• Taking and defending depositions
