About the RoleAre you a seasoned maritime operations leader with a passion for safety, compliance, and team development? We’re looking for a Manager of Regional Operations to oversee and coordinate all phases of our regional marine operations, ensuring excellence in service delivery, regulatory compliance, and personnel management.
What You’ll Do- Lead and supervise regional marine operations and personnel.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Manage vessel scheduling, utilization, and repair coordination.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/ISM/SMS/VMP programs and safety standards.
- Oversee regional budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Act as the Regional Qualified Individual/Incident Commander during emergency responses.
- Represent the company in regulatory, customer, and labor relations settings.
- Drive employee development, performance management, and retention.
- Minimum 15 years of marine operations experience, including supervisory roles.
- Maritime Academy education or college degree preferred.
- Valid USCG Masters or Mates License preferred.
- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, vessel operations, and labor contracts.
- Proven leadership, negotiation, and team-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise business platforms.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage emergency situations effectively.
- Pay for this position will be between $125,449 to $188,174 annually. This position would also be eligible for our Incentive Compensation Plan bonus of 20% of base pay, subject to company and individual performance and per company policy.

- Vacation - Foss appreciates how hard employees work and recognizes the importance of providing time for rest and relaxation. In this position you will accrue 15 days of vacation a year with a maximum accrual of 200 hours. Accrued vacation will be vested and available for use after successfully completing six (6) months of service.
- Nine (9) paid holidays with two (2) additional floating holidays available after six (6) months of service.
- Full time employees will accrue ninety-six (96) hours of sick leave per year, up to a maximum of 1,040 hours.
- Bereavement Leave - three (3) paid days off for a death in the immediate family, or five (5) days off if travel greater than 500 miles is required.
