Production​/Operation Manager

Job Location: Kalihi area, Honolulu

Compensation: $5,000-$5,500/month

Employment Type: Temp to Hire - Full Time

Work Schedule: 5 days/week, 9 hours/day (6am-5pm, Flexible)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Production/Operation Manager to oversee daily operations at our food processing facility. This role is responsible for managing production teams, ensuring quality control, optimizing efficiency, and maintaining safety and compliance standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in food production, operations management, and team leadership.

• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality output.
• Manage and lead production staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor and maintain food safety, hygiene, and compliance with health regulations.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure consistent quality of cut fruits, vegetables, and rice products.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and supply chain coordination to meet production demands.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to meet client needs and expectations.
• Maintain and enforce workplace safety protocols.

• Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or operations management.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control procedures.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and optimize operational workflows.
• Experience in supply chain, inventory, and resource management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and production software is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license required.

• Experience in fresh produce, food processing, or related industries.
• Bilingual skills (Japanese/English) are a plus but not required.
