Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - Hale Ola Kino by Arcadia
Base pay range: $21.50/hr - $23.50/hr this range is provided by Arcadia Family of Companies. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
What You’ll Do- Nurture residents, clients, and/or members, ensuring the delivery of top-notch care under supervision of designated departmental leadership and/or other medical professionals as appropriate.
- Provide care in accordance with the care plan, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, eating (set-up, serving, and collecting), feeding, dressing, oral hygiene, and grooming.
- Assist with toileting and peri-care for incontinent residents, clients, or members.
- Assist residents to turn, reposition, and transfer, which may involve one or two-person assistance or use of a lift machine as per the care plan.
- Transport residents, clients, or members to activities and meals.
- Take and record ADLs, vitals, intake/output, transfers, ambulation status, mood/behaviors, and pain levels as applicable.
- Observe and report changes in condition to licensed staff and participate in continuous quality improvement and safety practices.
- Interact with residents, clients, and members in alignment with AFC’s mission and core values; maintain rights and privacy; attend required in-service trainings; and comply with health screening and disaster-response procedures.
- Shifts available: various times (overnight, day, evening) as per unit needs.
- Compensation: $21.50 to $23.50 hourly.
- Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Certifications:
Current Hawaii Certified Nurse Aide certificate; current First Aid and CPR certificates. - Computer Skills:
Proficiency with computer applications (e.g., Vision, Microsoft Office Suite). - Physical Demands:
Regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds; ability to perform varied physical tasks; sensory requirements as listed in job description. - Work Environment:
May include indoor/outdoor settings and exposure to varied conditions as part of daily duties.
