About This Role
The Short Hour-Coordinator for Hospital Operations oversees daily administrative operations, ensuring patient-focused and cost-effective services. This role is ideal for individuals with strong leadership skills and a background in nursing management.

Call-in/On-Call
- Communicate goals, objectives, and priorities to assigned staff.
- Ensure staff completes mandatory education and clinical competencies.
- Provide nursing consultation to unit staff and other hospital personnel.
- Act as on-site administrative representative for Hospital Administration outside of customary business hours.
- Respond to all patient and facility emergencies as Incident Commander.
- Maintain oversight of hospital capacity and capability for services.
- Triage and prioritize patients for admission based on needs.
- Facilitate and coordinate emergent care and safety needs.
- Monitor patient care and assess complex patient care solutions.
- Collaborate with physician/hospital leadership for appropriate medical care.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or RN with three (3) years nursing leadership experience required.
Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years of acute care experience required.
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Registered Nurse License (Hawaii) required at hire.
- Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support from American Heart Association required.
