Cook; Part-time, Weekends

Overview

The Salvation Army Addiction Treatment Services (ATS) is seeking a part‑time Cook (Part‑time, Weekends) to prepare evening meals on Saturdays and Sundays (22 hours per week). Under the direction of the Food Service Coordinator, you will carry out all established standards and procedures, supervise and train residents assigned to the kitchen, and work independently to prepare, cook, and serve meals to a large group within designated meal period times.

• Carry out all established standards and procedures in food service.
• Prepare evening meals for residents.
• Provide supervision and training to residents assigned to the kitchen.
• Work independently in preparing, cooking, and serving meals within designated meal period times.

• Satisfactory combination of education, training, and experience in food service and preparation, purchasing, and sanitation to enable you to assist the head of an institutional dietary service.
• Proven ability to supervise.
