Airline Catering-Cooks Helper

Classification: Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $18.50/hr

Date: June 2025

• Assist with preparing all food &/or meals for airlines and charters
• Assist with preparing all foods for HMR & employee meals
• Read & Follow all FFG recipes correctly & provide correct proportions
• Complete prep work as directed by management &/or Cook
• Use all cooking equipment properly & safely
• Follow FFG sanitation procedures to keep kitchen area & equipment clean
• Maintain high standards of sanitation, hygiene & food handling procedures
• Report safety hazards & accidents to management immediately
• Perform all related and miscellaneous duties as directed by management.

• 1 year food prep / cooking background
• Good communication skills
• Must speak, read, and understand English
• Must be able to lift over 60 pounds
• Must have good attendance record and be on time.
• Must be able to stand and move around most of the day

This position has non-supervisory responsibilities.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. The facility is widely refrigerated, and work is required inside refrigerated processing areas.

The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and stand for long periods and reach with hands and arm.

This is a full-time exempt position in a 24/7/365 work environment. Flexibility with weekdays, evenings and weekend required.
