Summary:
Honolulu's newest sports bar & grill is seeking a skilled and passionate Kitchen Chef to join our team.
Nestled in the heart of Kakaako, Honolulu's most vibrant neighborhood, our restaurant has a unique concept, customers visit not only to relax with friends or watch live sports, but also to enjoy an omakase dinner at the sushi bar.

Responsibilities:
As a Kitchen Chef, you will handle all kitchen operations including prep work, cooking, plating, as well as management duties like inventory control and maintaining kitchen sanitation.
- Handle all prep work and cooking
- Assist in menu development and testing, contributing new ideas and techniques
- Supervise and train kitchen staff
- Maintain kitchen sanitation and safety standards
- Participate in inventory management and stock preparation
Employment Type: Full-time
Openings: 1
Hours: 40 hours per week (shift schedule including weekends and holidays)
Overtime: Generally, none
Pay and Benefits:
- Compensation: $16-$22 per hour + tips (approx.
10-20%) - (Determined based on experience, skills, and previous salary)

Skills and
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of culinary experience
- Proven experience in all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Knowledge and practical experience in food hygiene and safety management
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills and etiquette
- Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Passion for cooking and a desire for continuous learning and growth in culinary skills
