Starting rate of pay: $16.25/hr
Kailua location starting rate of pay: $17.00/hr
Maui locations starting rate of pay: $16.31/hr

Position Summary: Under the direction of the department head and/or manager, the Seafood Clerk provides customers with friendly and efficient service. The Seafood Clerk receives, cleans, prepares, packages, wraps, prices, displays, and stores fish, fish products, and other seafood products. Prepares all seafood and products for retail sales. Assists with the housekeeping, security, and safety standards of the department.

Essential Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to read and write at a high school competency level.
Customer service and/or fish cutting experience preferred.
Be available to work various days and shifts. Some overtime hours may be required.
- Proven ability to converse in English on a one-to-one basis.
- Ability to read and comprehend department guidelines and procedures. Ability to write in a clear and understandable manner.
- Must be at least 18 years of age upon employment.
- Must be able to distinguish color of products.
- Must be able to visually recognize, hear, acknowledge, and converse with a supervisor, co-worker, or customer at a reasonable distance with a corrective and/or supplemental aid if needed.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
