Sales Clerk – hourly rate $15.00 / hour.

Location:

Honolulu, HI – Exchange.

Work schedule:

• Welcome customers, maintain product knowledge, and assist with merchandise selection.
• Respond quickly to all customer concerns and provide outstanding customer service, including demonstration and/or explanation of technical features.
• Operate the cash register: receive cash, checks, credit cards, debit cards, and gift cards; give accurate change; record sales; balance the till; record money, stamps, checks, and charge slips.
• Conduct periodic stock counts and inventory participation; perform price changes (markdowns/markups) and set company promotions; ensure proper signage and item labeling.
• Replenish stock and maintain merchandise in a neat and presentable condition.
• Follow all loss‑prevention policies and be proactive about shrink and the alert line.
• Follow all established safety standards and emergency preparedness requirements.
• Work weekends as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High‑school diploma or GED; ability to read, comprehend, and explain product literature; basic arithmetic skills for stocking and inventory.
• Physical ability to routinely lift 10 lb and occasionally 25 lb; ability to stand for long periods.
• Previous retail merchandising or cashier experience (preferred).
