Description
Salary:
Up to $85,000 per year.
Hilton Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa is seeking a driven and strategic Group Sales Manager to lead our group business efforts in one of the world’s most iconic destinations. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and excels at building lasting client relationships. You’ll be responsible for generating group room revenue, converting leads, and ensuring seamless execution of group events—all while upholding Hilton’s brand standards and delivering genuine Hawaiian hospitality.
The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. Must also be able to work independently and complete assignments within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. Compensation is based on a fixed salary. No commission or performance bonuses are offered.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic group sales plans tailored to the Hawaii market
- Drive group bookings across corporate, leisure, and SMERF segments to meet and/or exceed hotel sales goals
- Conduct site visits, presentations, and outside sales calls
- Negotiate contracts and collaborate with revenue management to maximize profitability
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure flawless group experiences
- Maintain accurate records in Hilton CRM systems and prepare performance reports
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, tourism boards, and industry events
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to maintain a competitive edge
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred or, an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of hotel group sales experience, ideally in resort or destination markets
- Proficiency in Delphi, OnQ R&I, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with Hawaii’s tourism landscape and seasonal travel patterns
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally and occasionally out-of-state
