Starting Pay: $21.00 to $26.00 per hour

Ensures the security of Company facilities, with a focus on Chef Zone, through the monitoring and use of surveillance and access control systems, conducting regular inspections and observation, assisting with investigations of asset losses, policy violations, and security breaches, and providing recommendations on security improvements.

• Assists Asset Protection manager and Loss Prevention Supervisor with the issuance and maintenance of employee s/access cards. Monitors and modifies access rights in accordance to individual job responsibilities and work schedule.
• Monitors surveillance cameras to ensure internal and external security.
• Assists with security vendors (Alert Alarm, Jan Guard Security, etc.) to schedule repairs and maintenance for security equipment, update notification lists as needed.
• Maintains documentation of all loss prevention activity.
• Conducts surveillance of external theft suspects in compliance with Chef Zones Ethical Standards and Apprehension Guidelines. Monitors customer and associate activity in the store to prevent potential theft of Chef Zone assets.
• Assists in monitoring store compliance with Chef Zone policies and procedures on theft deterrence, safety and operational controls.
• Conducts inspections and audits of the facilities and procedures involving loss prevention and security, including will call, day and night warehouse operations, cash handling and cash register operations.
• Conducts regular inspections of inventory items with large/frequent shrinkage. For Chef Zone location verifies proper labeling on inventory items and audits proper scanning of items at the register.
• Assists with investigations of asset losses, policy violations and security breaches.
• Uses the Company’s Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.

• Must have High School diploma and valid driver’s license.
• Experience in warehouse distribution retail environment and previous loss prevention, law enforcement, or related experience highly preferred.
• Must have current State of Hawaii Guard Card

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Position hours are Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Overnight and weekends hours also required.
