As a Security Officer - Utilities Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a utilities setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security‑related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and communication will contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors.

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual occurrences during patrols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors while maintaining a visible presence.
• Follow established protocols for access control and visitor management at the location.
• Assist with emergency response efforts as directed by Allied Universal and client protocols.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
