• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calm, problem‑solving manner within the retail environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unsafe conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and assisting visitors as needed.
• Work collaboratively with retail staff and Allied Universal team members to address security‑related concerns and provide support during emergencies.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Allied Universal will conduct a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will conduct a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
