Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Resort Perimeter Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a hotel and resort environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report any unusual conditions.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and addressing unauthorized access as needed.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
- Support emergency response activities as directed, which may include assisting with evacuations, medical situations, or other urgent incidents.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to guests and staff.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
