What You’ll Do
  • Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help deter unauthorized access.
  • Provide customer service to visitors, personnel, and/or travelers by following site‑specific policies and procedures, including responding to inquiries and offering directions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help deter unwanted activities and observe for any unusual conditions.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities clearly and accurately in daily reports and/or logs as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
  • Support emergency response activities by following instructions and assisting with evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with site staff, law enforcement, or emergency responders as needed to address incidents or concerns at the location.
Minimum Requirements
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
